These exquisite miniature nativity scenes are completely handmade. Closed, the box is natural wood with stenciled elements on the front two doors, which open out from the center. The doors, each about 3/4" thick, open to reveal the Holy Family inside the stable in the center section, with a shepherd and sheep on the right, and a Seiffen-style angel on the left. Made from hand turned and handpainted components with a painted blue background. The doors close securely (imagine the sound of Mercedes doors closing and you get the picture. A lovely little treasure that will fit fully in the palm of your hand.
